Tight access excavation on the Central Coast
Backyards behind the house, under floors, beside fences and up on balconies.
What needs doing, and how big is the site?
The question we get most is "what machines do you have?" Our answer is always another question: what needs doing, and how big is your site?
Our excavators run from 6.5 tonnes down to a mini that fits through a standard door. A tracked dumper carries the dirt out down narrow side paths. When there's no way in at ground level, the machine goes in by crane.
We've been doing tight access work since 2005. We get in, do the job and get out again without damaging what's around it.

Where we can get in
- Through the house. Our smallest excavator fits through a standard doorway.
- Down the side path. Mini excavators and the tracked dumper work in gaps beside fences and walls.
- Under houses and verandas. Digging out under floors and decks.
- Over the top. Machines craned onto balconies and into backyards with no other access.
- Pools in small yards. Digs and removals where a big machine won't fit.

How small is your smallest machine?
Our smallest excavator fits through a standard door. Tell us the narrowest point on the way in and we'll pick the machine to suit.
Can you crane a machine into my yard?
Yes. When there's no access at ground level, the excavator or skid steer goes in by crane over the house or onto a balcony.
